„Polievka, polievka, polievka, polievka, ani s tým nezačínaj! S rybími ikrami a zelerom. Je to ďalší deň drezovej ejakulácie’’, píše Luki Essender ve svém textu ‘Veľký kľúč, smiešny klobúk a šlapka od Cartiera’, z kterého pochází název jeho*jí výstavy v galerii OFF/FORMAT.
Vynořuje se před námi erotický obraz z prostředí kuchyňského dřezu. Obraz ruky, která tře atlaský cedr o jinou ruku, promítající se na zamlžené stěny z nerezové oceli. Dřez funguje jako scéna postavená na našich obavách, touhách a přesvědčeních. Essender dekonstruuje architekturu různých prostor a mísí místnosti do kombinace kuchyně, prodejního kosmetického pultu, koupelny nebo komunální prádelny. Autor*ka vytváří novou imaginativní
konfi guraci, která se vztahuje k našemu tělu a k funkcím péče.
Výstava je věnována památce Matúše Horvátha a Juraje Vankuliče, obětem teroristického útoku v queer baru Tepláreň.

“Soup, soup, soup, soup, don’t even get me started! With fi sh roe and celery. It‘s another day of sink ejaculation‘‘, writes Luki Essender in their text ‚‘Big key, funny hat and the Cartier whore‘‘, where the title of the exhibition at the OFF/FORMAT Gallery comes from.
An erotic image emerges from the environment of a sink. An image of a hand rubbing atlas cedar onto another hand projected onto misty stainless steel walls. The sink funtions as a scene built upon our fears, desires and beliefs. Essender is deconstructing the architecture of different spaces and mixes rooms into a combination of a kitchen, a cosmetic retail counter, a bathroom or a communal laundry room. The artist creates a new imaginative
confi guration that relates to our bodies and to functions of care.
The exhibition is dedicated to the memory of Matúš Horváth and Juraj Vankulič, the victims of the terrorist attack in the queer bar Tepláreň.
